Daniel's BYU Acceptance and Scholarship

I am so grateful that Daniel got into BYU, and even more grateful that he got the Heritage scholarship which pays for full tuition for all four years! I saw the email shortly after 10 AM when I got up. The email came at 8:49 AM. We were very happy but not that surprised that he got in.

Michael said a couple people on Cougarboard said their kids found out about scholarships but we didn't see anything in the portal and he didn't have an email so I was concerned. The scholarship notification email came in at 12:37 PM. 

Daniel gets Heritage Scholarship notification, 4 years paid tuition!

I really wanted him to get the Nelson scholarship but I'm so thrilled that he got the Heritage one. I was in some shock for quite a while that he got it. I've been praying for it so hard and I'm so grateful he got it. We went on the BYU website to fill out the application for on-campus housing for him. 

Congratulations, Daniel! The many hours you spent on those essays were worth it!
