OK, really it was a Rod Stewart concert and Richard Marx was the opening act. I got an email about a Richard Marx concert, and I didn't figure out until later that he was just the opening act for Rod Stewart but it was still worth it to me. Rod Stewart was great and he sounded pretty good, considering that he is 81 years old, but I would have liked to hear more from Richard Marx. Oh well. Michael and I had fun! When we were first dating, Michael knew one song on the piano and it was "Right Here Waiting," by Richard Marx. He thought I would be so impressed but at the time that song was so overplayed that I didn't swoon like he thought I would, haha! However, that has come to be one of our favorite songs and a great memory. So glad we got to hear him sing it live!
