Nathaniel's High School Graduation
We are so proud of Nathaniel! He had a great senior year and ended up with straight As! He accomplished his goal of getting in to BYU, which is very selective. He has worked hard and it paid off! It was a great day. Graduation was at 9:30am, and afterwards we went to Red Robin for lunch. Michael's brother Steve and sister Erin attended the ceremony, and Betsy and her kids and Carol (who wasn't feeling well that morning) met us for lunch.
MoPro
Nathaniel went to another prom! The first one was for school, and this one was Mormon Prom. He had a great time and went with another great group of friends. All five couples had pictures taken, then dinner at Lacey's house (Nathaniel's date) and finally went to the dance. Afterwards, they came to our house to hang out and play games.
More School Stuff
It was Daniel's turn for his band concert. It was supposed to be sooner, but it was delayed because of the teacher walk-out. He did a great job, but he does plan to change to the trombone for next year. He enjoyed the trumpet, but had a hard time getting a good sound out of it.
Jonathan had his Dr. Seuss program. This is my third time watching this same program (Andrew and Daniel also did it in 3rd grade), and it's cute every time.
Andrew proudly displayed his Bolivia project at the school open house. He worked so hard and except for a little help with cutting and gluing, he did the entire board himself.
Nathaniel had his senior awards night and received a certificate for having over a 4.0 and for earning a scholarship to ASU.
Nathaniel also had his Seminary graduation last Sunday. He completed four years of Seminary, and except for his senior year, had to go extra early to school to fit it into his schedule.
Andrew had his end-of-the-year celebration and made the honor roll!
Great job, kids! I can't believe the school year is over. Nathaniel and Emily both earned straight As the whole year, and Andrew had all As except for a B in English second semester. It was a great year!

Mother's Day
I had a great Mother's Day weekend! On Friday morning, we had Donuts with Dad at one school and Muffins with Mom at another.
Saturday night, we went to dinner at Osaka and had Teppanyaki.
In the first picture, the table behind us were at the part where the fire flames up really high right when the picture was being taken.
That's better
On Sunday, Michael grilled and his mom and sister came over for dinner.

School Stuff
Emily had her last band concert of the year. She did a great job as always!
Nathaniel was there to support Emily and also his friend Lacey, who is a senior and had her last high school band concert.
Andrew did a great job on his solo at the band concert! We are so proud of him!!!
Daniel's project--simple machines
This machine can raise a Hot Wheels car and put it on the inclined plane.
Jonathan's bottle head project--Benjamin Franklin
I can't believe they only have eight more days of school!

May Miscellaneous
We've had a lot of great things going on lately!
Jonathan got glasses
Nathaniel is now an Eagle Scout!
Michael took the three younger boys on a campout with our ward
My sister Betsy was there as well
My brother-in-law Geoff is in the men's choir
Also, the teacher walk out is over and the kids won't have to make up any of the days they missed (6!). Yay!!!
We sold our house in Bridle Brook, so now we only own one home! We are so relieved!

Nathaniel and I went to see the East Valley Millennial Choirs and Orchestra concert. It was his idea! The concert was amazing, and we saw many people we know perform in the concert. We went to Pete's Fish and Chips for dinner afterwards.
