Jonny's First Day of School
This is my Facebook post from today:
We have lived here for 11 years and school has always started early with our modified year-round schedule, but this year is by far the earliest. This is how Jonny feels about starting school today.
Junior year!
I finally got him to smile.

Our Wonderful Visit with Nathaniel, Audrey, and Charlie!
July 9, Wednesday
By about 6:30 PM, Charlie was ready for bed because that's 7:30 PM Utah time. Audrey fed him and got him ready for bed but he woke up quite a few more times. I had made roast in the crockpot for dinner so I made some sides to go with that. Once Daniel got home, he and Jonny and Nathaniel and Audrey all played Smash Bros for a little while. They actually made me play for a few minutes when Audrey had to go upstairs to take care of Charlie. Once Michael got home, we all decided to play a game. We played Taboo, then we had a family prayer and everyone went to bed.

Michael's Birthday
July 8, Tuesday
I'm so glad we got to celebrate Michael's birthday today! He went to the temple like normal. I went to the Rise Up Bakery to get a Texas sheet cake for Michael. We opened presents with Michael and then I had 5 and 2 candles to put on the cake and we sang to him and had Texas sheet cake and it was delicious.
Happy Birthday, Sweetie!

The Fourth of July
July 4, Friday
It was great to sleep in today. We went to lunch at Moreno's.
Afterwards, we stopped at the storage unit and we were able to get a couple boxes of toys and some of Nathaniel's boxes. Then we stopped at Dairy Queen. Jonny got a Superman Blizzard and he let me have some of it and it was really good. Michael and I got a cherry dip. Michael said let's just take it home which was a mistake because it was a melted mess by the time we got two miles down the road to our house. Daniel went to the Diamondbacks baseball game with Ryan and Kevin. Jonny played Fortnite and then watched Shazam tonight. Andrew called around 5 PM and we talked to him for a while. Nathaniel and Emily were on for most of the time. It was a wonderful, relaxing day together!

Disney World with Dad and Sherriff's Youth Ranch Kids
June 29, Sunday
I am so exhausted but I'm so grateful to be in the condo in Orlando! Michael took me to the airport and I made it in plenty of time. I got off the plane and took the little tram and as soon as I came out Dad was there waiting for me. He never got the door code or any of the information from the Summerville resort people. He had tried calling but nobody answered. We drove around the resort trying to find somebody to talk to but never could. We called and called and selected the emergency option repeatedly for 45 minutes and nobody answered. Dad sent an email asking for help at their info email address. We finally gave up and went to dinner at Bonefish Grill. Before we went in, I said a prayer for us to bless the food and asked to please help us get this resolved otherwise we're going to be staying at some random hotel for tonight. While we were eating dinner, somebody from Casago who rents condos for the resort (that's who the reservation was through) reached out and we thankfully got all the information we needed for today and for tomorrow. For some reason he's not getting the emails from them. Anyway, we were so relieved to get that taken care of. I think the dinner tasted even better after that. We finished our dinner and came over to the condo and got right in and it's perfect. Dad's downstairs and I'm upstairs and it's the same kind of cute condo that we usually stay in here.
June 30, Monday
After that, we took a bathroom break
and headed to Toy Story Mania. We all had fun on Toy story Mania. Dad didn't go on it with us because it jerks you around quite a bit, but the kids all had fun. I sat next
to Lexi. I gave her some tips and she did great. After that, Pam and Kevin said they were done and
they needed to get the little kids home and in bed. So, we said goodbye to them. Dad and I stood there with the big kids
wondering what we should do. We decided that there wasn't anything else we
wanted to do at the park because we had already done it all and we may as well
go so we can get some rest. Plus, we wanted to stop at the store and get a
couple of things. We stood in line at Woody's lunchbox so everybody could get
an ice water and then we were going to go. Then it was funny because Faith
answered the phone and it turns out it was Pam telling her that they're coming
back and wondering where they were because the kids begged to stay and they
agreed to do it. Dad and I said our goodbyes and headed back to the condo. First, we went to Publix. Then we went to Cracker
Barrel for dinner. That was a nice break. Then we headed
back to the condo and went to bed.

July 2, Wednesday
We saw two lions laying there and then another lion standing regally so I got a picture. The kids got to see so many animals and it was really cool. Afterwards, I suggested they might like to go on the gorilla trail since we were right by it. The little kids were pretty excited about that. When they came in and we were first headed towards the Safari, there was a wilderness explorer station and they stopped and got a little booklet of things to find in the park and they were so excited about it. It was so cute. So Kaiden kept asking if he could go see all the things on the map. I told him he needed to find them as we go places and he found quite a few while we were there. After that, all the kids went on the Kali River Rapids ride with their lightning lane. We held their bags for them and I got all of their lunch orders before they left. Then we went over to Flame Tree Barbecue to reserve some seats and they met us over there. We had a nice little area in the shade and it was pretty quiet and there was a place for everyone to sit and it was nice. It was nice for them to have something other than chicken and fries. Next it was time to head over to Avatar Flight of Passage. Everyone but Pam rode Flight of Passage and the kids loved it! It was so fun! Even the big kids who had been to Disney World before had never ridden it so that was fun to experience with them. After that, they shopped in the store just outside the ride for quite a while. By then, it was getting close to 2:30 PM and I was getting nervous that we should probably leave so I could get to the airport. I suggested that the younger kids could start their lightning lane for Na’vi River journey and Hallie had figured out that if they waited until 12:45 PM that everyone could go on it together and I said yes that's true so that's what we did. We all rode Na'vi River Journey and then after that we headed out. Dad took me to the airport and we got there around 4 PM. As we were driving, I got a notification that my flight was delayed. It ended up being delayed two hours. It was absolutely pouring outside. I know I was very tired today because I was able to sleep for about two hours on the flight. I was on the plane for about five hours so that was a long day but I'm glad to be home. I've never been so relieved to have Michael come pick me up at the airport because that would've been awful to have to take the Skytrain, find the car, and drive all the way home. I was glad to see the boys. We had a family prayer and I went to bed. It's been a wonderful trip but I'm completely mentally and physically exhausted and glad to be home for the next month.
I'm so glad I was able to go on this trip! It was wonderful to help with the kids, but even better to have some one-on-one time with Dad!
