Andrew and Daniel had a great experience on their Pioneer Trek. They left on Thursday, bright and early, and rode a chartered bus for five hours to Cherry Valley, California. They pulled handcarts and walked eight miles on Thursday, four on Friday, and one and a half on Saturday and they came home Saturday night. They both really enjoyed a presentation by a Marine who came to talk to them about his career and gave them a great lesson about the power of God. This was for the boys while the girls did the Women's Pull, where the women and girls pulled the handcarts by themselves. They had devotionals at night and a dance on Friday night. Their "ma's and pa's" had nothing but great things to say about our boys. They worked hard and had good attitudes and were very helpful to their "families." They even left their phones at home! I'm so glad they were able to have this experience!
Ready to go!
