Daniel was dying to have a Cookie Num-num so we
got some of those. After we had our treat, the boys all wanted to ride Grizzly
River Run so they’d have time to dry off. They all came off the ride pretty
wet, especially Michael. Our plan had been to go to Hollywoodland and go to
Turtle Talking and Animation Academy, but Turtle Talk was closed and we
couldn’t even go in the building because they were getting it ready for the
Halloween party. Then we thought we would try Mickey’s PhilharMagic, which we
were pretty excited to see, but it was already closed. Nathaniel will be so
excited that they have it there now! I asked the guy about it and he said that
it’s very similar to the one at Walt Disney World. We also tried Monsters Inc.
but that ride was super long. We were starting to get a little frustrated so I
suggested we go to Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree. On the way we stopped off at
Pacific Wharf to use the restrooms and we were able to see where the
trick-or-treat trails will be. Mater’s JamBOOree was a more intense ride than I
thought it would be!
After we got off
the ride, we went to the trick-or-treat trail in Cars Land and then to the
Oogie Boogie trick-or-treat trail in Hollywoodland.
We got a lot of candy and
also healthy stuff like apples and carrots and grapes. We stopped off at the
locker to put our candy in it and get our sweaters and jackets and then we went
to Soarin’. We just walked right in and got right onto a ride. After Soarin’,
Michael, Emily, Andrew, and Daniel all went to the Guardians of the Galaxy Monsters
After Dark ride. Emily was pretty excited to ride it with the Halloween theme
tonight. While they were on the ride, a
little girl next to Michael had a necklace with neon lights on it. When the ride dropped down, the necklace flew
off of the little girl’s head and onto Michael.
I asked him what he did, and he said he just wore it until the end of
the ride and gave it back to her, lol!
While they rode Guardians of the Galaxy, Jonathan and I headed over to
Pixar Pier to go on Toy Story Mania. Before we went on the ride, we got some
pictures with Mrs. Incredible. She pointed out that we were matching and she touched my hair and noticed that all I was missing was a mask.
Once we were done on Toy Story, Michael called
us and we went over to the Pacific Wharf to meet them for dinner. The boys
didn’t want to have dinner at any of the Pacific Wharf restaurants, so I got a
salad for myself and we went over to Flo’s and picked up the mobile order I had
made. We wanted to watch the Frightfully Fun parade, but we couldn’t resist
going to Radiator Springs Racers when the wait was so short. Even Michael was
in favor of doing that We literally walked all the way to the front
of the line. We didn’t have to stop until it was time to get into the car.
Here we are walking back through Cars Land.
Next,
we headed over to watch the World of Color Villainous show.
Andrew regretted
not getting his jacket so he went to the locker to get it and met us over
there. We left the show a couple minutes early and went to the Redwood Creek
Trail to see the Villains Grove. The kids complained that the line was way too
long, but it kept moving pretty quickly and they all seemed to enjoy it.
Next, we all
went to ride the Incredicoaster and Toy Story Mania.
The kids wanted me to ride
Guardians of the Galaxy with them and Jonathan wanted to ride the
Incredicoaster again so we split up. Michael took him on Incredicoaster
and then on Toy Story Mania again, which makes three times on each ride for him
tonight.
Jonny was pretty happy because he beat Michael’s score by 200 and he
had the highest score of the hour with 119,400. I endured Guardians of the Galaxy reluctantly. My stomach was
already not feeling so great, but I’m glad I got to go with them.
When we were
waiting in line, we saw some very little girls and the little boy next to us
was talking nonstop and had a huge Sorcerer Mickey hat on. Daniel was very
concerned that he was going to lose his hat. His parents must’ve taken it off
of him because he wasn’t wearing it in the picture and they had it as they
left. I felt so bad for the little girl who was crying so hard after the ride.
She must’ve been terrified. Michael called us as soon as we got out because
they were done so they went to the locker. Daniel and I stopped at a store to
get him an Oogie Boogie Bash shirt and everybody met us there. Then we walked
to the hotel. The only thing I didn’t like about the party was
that I could never find a Photopass photographer to take a picture of our whole
family together. The only ones I saw
were with the characters and the lines were way too long.
It’s midnight and everybody’s just going to bed. The Halloween
party was so much fun!!
